The Pikecraft Quick Hook Release Pin Screw 2.0 is the next generation of the proven Quick Pin system. Designed as a screw-in hook assist release clip made from durable spring steel, it securely holds the hook inside the soft bait and releases instantly when a fish strikes. This innovative design eliminates the need for additional hook spikes while maintaining optimal hook positioning and maximum hooking efficiency.

The Quick Hook Release Pin Screw 2.0 can be used with a wide range of treble hook sizes and can easily be adjusted with pliers to fit larger hooks up to size 5/0 or smaller hooks when required.

Designed for pelagic fishing and modern stinger rig applications, the system allows the use of standard treble hooks instead of traditional assist hooks. This provides a significant advantage because the hook points are positioned at approximately 120° rather than the 90° angle commonly found on spike-mounted assist hooks. The wider hook angle improves hook-up rates and reduces missed strikes.

Unlike conventional spike systems that repeatedly penetrate and damage the soft bait, the Quick Hook Release Pin Screw remains permanently installed inside the lure.
