Monkey Hooks – Jigheads with a “gorilla grip” on your soft bait

Monkey Lures is expanding its range again, and the new Monkey Hooks are built for anglers who want maximum control, clean rigging, and a higher landing rate. These jigheads use a redesigned hook geometry that lets the hook exit the soft bait earlier than on many standard jigheads. The result: a freer, more lively lure action—and a bait that predators can inhale and fold more easily for solid hook-ups.

The hook gap is deliberately high, placing the point farther away from the eye. This improves penetration and helps keep fish—especially zander—from throwing the hook during head shakes and hard runs.

A smart detail across all sizes: the eyelet sits close to the head. That reduces weed and debris pickup and keeps the rig running cleaner around structure.

Instead of a classic lead collar that can tear very soft or slim plastics, Monkey Hooks feature an integrated bait holder that locks the lure in place and helps protect the body—ideal for delicate finesse baits as well as tougher shads.

Sizes & best lure matches

• 2/0: ideal for 6–8 cm soft baits (e.g., King Lui 7.5 cm)

• 4/0: ideal for 10–12 cm soft baits (e.g., King Lui 10 cm)

(Also works perfectly with many other soft plastics.)
