Our absolute favorite lure for dropshot fishing! Hardly any lure unfolds a comparable movement in the water and imitates an injured baitfish as brilliantly as the Finesse Filet from LMAB. The unique movement of the softbait has already been able to seduce a variety of large predatory fish and is known to catch particularly large perch.
While the head still has a common thickness for softbaits, the body is very thin and thus unfolds the unique and outstanding lure play. Even with small movements in of the rod tip, the lure twitches wildly in the water and imitates a wounded prey fish. For mounting, the Dropshot hook is put through the thicker head and in such a way that it sticks out on the side. This makes the lure lie sideways in the water and the play of the lure comes to full fruition.
The thin material has another not to be despised advantage over other softbaits: it can be sucked in by the fish without resistance. Due to the low thickness, it really collapses when a perch or zander takes the lure. This increases your bite evaluation noticeably and lands more fish. Of course, the Finesse Filet can also be fished very well on other mounts, such as Texas and Carolina Rig. Especially on offset hooks the lure works extremely well, because the thin material slides down easily during the bite and releases the hook tip.
The LMAB Finesse Filet has an incomparable lure play and is one of our absolute favorites for fishing the dropshot rig. Few lures catch big perch with such regularity as this one.
